Hiding User Roles

Overview

This feature allows store owners to hide specific user roles that are no longer in use. Hidden roles will not be displayed in the employee page, including role filters and dropdowns when adding or editing employee profiles. You can unhide a role at anytime when it’s needed. This does not affect any existing user role assignments or system permissions.



Hiding user role from the system

Go to Users > User Role and check the Hide option. Only store owners can access this.


Role is hidden. Click to make it visible.


Role is visible. Click to hide.



If you try to hide a role that is currently assigned to one or more employees, an error will be shown. Please reassign the affected employees to a different role and try again.



Hidden roles are excluded from:

      1. Employee List

    1. Add/Edit employee
