The Hourly Sales by Date Range report provides a detailed breakdown of sales performance by hour for each day within a selected date range. This report helps identify peak sales hours, customer traffic patterns, and overall hourly performance for a specific branch.
Overview
The Hourly Sales by Date Range report provides a detailed breakdown of sales performance by hour for each day within a selected date range. This report helps identify peak sales hours, customer traffic patterns, and overall hourly performance for a specific branch.
It displays both:

Net Sales ($) per hour
-
Units Sold (Quantity) per hour
This report is commonly used for staffing decisions, operational planning, and understanding customer buying behavior throughout the day.
Report Filters
At the top of the report, the following filters are available:

Start Date – The beginning date of the report range

End Date – The ending date of the report range
-
Branch – The selected store/location for which the data is displayed
Once the filters are set, click View Report to generate the data or Download CSV to export the report.
Data Rules & Notes
The report follows these rules:

Only Completed and Partially Refunded orders are included
-
Sales values represent net sales ($)
-
Fully refunded or voided transactions are excluded
-
Column headers use 24-hour time format
-
Each hour represents the starting hour of the period (e.g.,
9= 9:00–9:59)
Report Layout
Date Range Header
The grey bar above the table displays the selected date range for clarity.
Example: January 20th, 2026 – January 20th, 2026
Hourly Columns
Each column represents a specific hour of the day (in 24-hour format).
For each hour, the cell shows:

Top value: Total sales amount ($)

Value in parentheses: Total quantity of items sold
Example: $364.05 (22), This means $364.05 in net sales with 22 items sold during that hour.
Daily Row
Each row represents a single day within the selected date range. The first column displays:

Day of the week
-
Full date
Total Sales Column
The far-right column summarizes the entire day:

Total Sales ($) for the day

Total Units Sold for the day (shown in parentheses)
Example: $4,483.17 (238), This indicates total net sales of $4,483.17 and 238 items sold for the day.
