KML Delivery Zone Config

The KML Delivery Zone feature allows store administrators to define precise delivery areas by uploading a KML file directly into the POS system. This delivery method is ideal for businesses that require more accurate delivery coverage than a standard radius-based setup.

The KML Delivery Zone

supports three delivery configuration methods:

  • Radius (KM)
  • Delivery Zones
  • KML Delivery Zone

Only one delivery method can be enabled at a time. When KML Delivery Zone is activated, all other delivery zone methods are automatically disabled for that store.

Setting up a KML Delivery Zone

Step 1 — Select the Delivery Method

Access the store’s Delivery Settings (Web Menu > UI Setting) section and select KML Delivery Zone as the active delivery method.

Once selected, the system will allow KML-based delivery zone management.

Step 2 — Create a New Delivery Zone

To add a new delivery zone, complete the following fields:

  • Zone Name — Name used to identify the delivery area
  • Delivery Fee — Delivery charge applied to orders inside the zone
  • Free Delivery Threshold — Minimum order amount required for free delivery
  • KML File — Upload the KML file containing the delivery boundaries

Use the Upload KML button to select and upload the file.

After all information is completed, click Add Zone to save the delivery zone.

KML Delivery Zone Table

After a zone is created, it will appear in the delivery zone list with the following information:

  • Zone Name
  • Uploaded KML File Name
  • Delivery Fee
  • Free Delivery Threshold
  • Status
  • Available Actions

The Status column indicates whether the delivery zone is currently active or inactive.

Available Actions

Edit Zone

The Edit option allows administrators to update existing zone information, including:

  • Zone name
  • Delivery fee
  • Free delivery threshold
  • Zone status

Changes can be saved or canceled at any time.

Preview Zone

The Preview option opens a map view displaying the delivery area imported from the KML file.

The delivery boundaries are displayed as polygons on the map, allowing administrators to visually confirm the delivery coverage.

Delete Zone

The Delete option permanently removes the selected KML delivery zone from the system.

Map Preview and Polygon Editing

The map preview screen allows administrators to review and manage delivery areas directly on the map.

Available map actions include:

  • Viewing uploaded delivery polygons
  • Creating new polygons manually
  • Editing existing polygon points and boundaries
  • Removing polygons from the map
  • Saving updated delivery area geometry

This functionality provides greater flexibility when adjusting delivery coverage areas.

Customer Experience

Once a KML delivery zone is configured, the POS system automatically validates whether a customer’s address falls within the configured delivery boundaries.

If the address is located inside the delivery zone:

  • Delivery will be available
  • The configured delivery fee will be applied
  • Free delivery rules will be respected when applicable

If the address falls outside the configured area, delivery may be restricted based on the store configuration.

Benefits of Using KML Delivery Zones

Accurate Delivery Coverage

KML files allow stores to define highly precise delivery areas instead of relying only on simple radius-based delivery.

Flexible Zone Management

Administrators can upload, preview, edit, and remove delivery zones directly from the admin panel.

Improved Customer Experience

Customers receive more accurate delivery availability based on real delivery boundaries.

Faster Operational Setup

Businesses that already use KML-based maps can quickly import their existing delivery regions without recreating zones manually.
