Missing SKUs Error When Importing Cannabis PO

This article provides guidance on the steps to take when you experience issues uploading a cannabis purchase order (PO) related to missing SKUs

Issue: Missing SKUs

Description: When you attempt to import a file containing SKUs that do not exist in your catalog (found under Inventory > Products), the system will generate an error message detailing the missing SKUs. See error message below: 

When this error occurs, it indicates that the product is not present in the system, which prevents the SKU from being recognized. You can quickly resolve this issue by either manually adding the missing product or syncing the latest catalog on the Products page.

Action Items: 

Step 1: Import the Latest Catalog

  • You can accomplish this directly on the Products page located under Inventory by selecting the IMPORT FROM CATALOG option in the top right corner.
  • Once imported, it will list down all the SKUs added on the catalog.

Step 2: Manually Create Products

If the catalog has been updated but you still cannot locate the SKUs, you may need to manually create the products. Additionally, we recommend reaching out to support to request an update to the catalog.

  • Go to Inventory > Products > Add New Product. 
  • When adding a new product, fill out the Product Information listed on the page and hit SAVE.

Warning: Ensure all mandatory product information are added:

  • SKU (This should match the SKU on the PO file) - 
  • Product Name
  • Category
  • Selling Price
