Product Sales Report Email Automation (RCG Integration)
The Product Sales Report now supports automated email delivery through the RCG integration. This enhancement allows stores to automatically receive Product Sales Reports on a scheduled basis without manually generating the report each time.
The report can be configured to send:
- Daily
- Monthly
By default, automated reports are delivered at 7:00 AM PST.
Accessing the Product Sales Report
To access the Product Sales Report:
- Navigate to Reports
- Select Product Sales
The Product Sales Report provides detailed sales information including:
- Quantity sold
- Base price
- Profit margin
- Selling price
- Gross sales
- Discounts
- Deposit amount
- Product weight
Setting Up Report Automation
Step 1: Open Report Automation Setup
Inside the Product Sales Report page:
- Click the Report Automation Setup option located on the right side of the page.
- The automation setup panel will appear.
Configuring Automated Emails
Adding an Email Recipient
- Enter the email address in the Email field.
- Click Submit.
The email recipient will then appear in the automation list.
Managing Existing Recipients
The automation list displays:
- Branch Name
- Email Address
- Edit Option
- Delete Option
Users can:
- Edit existing email recipients
- Remove recipients no longer requiring the report
Automation Schedule
Daily Automation
The Product Sales Report can automatically send a daily sales summary to configured recipients.
Monthly Automation
The Product Sales Report can also send monthly sales summaries for long-term reporting and reconciliation purposes.
Important Notes
- Default report delivery time is 7:00 AM PST
- Multiple email recipients can be configured
- Reports are generated automatically based on the selected schedule
- Users must have appropriate report access permissions to use this feature
