How are Points Accumulated and Redeemable Points Calculated?

Points per Dollar Spent

By default, members will receive 1 point per dollar spent – this can be customized by our team if changes are needed. Please let our team know for the changes.

There are several options for customization on how merchants can set up the redeemable points.

  1. If member spends 300 or has 300 points, he will get 3% back
  2. If member spends 500 or has 500 points, he will get 5% back

These are the default configuration, if you need any changes on the percentage or member spent limit, please contact our support and we will configure it for you.

The configurations we have to set are:

  1. How many points per dollar spent?
  2. What’s the divider amount for calculating the discount?
  3. At what certain amount of points do you want to apply the rewards discount?

Here is an example:

  1. Per dollar spent, customers will receive 30 points ($1 = 30 points)
  2. So, $100 = 3000 points. If they have 3000 points, they have $3 value. In this case, 3000/1000 = 3. So the divider value will be 1000.

The only time they can redeem their discount is when they reach 10,000 points. So if they have 10,000(points)/1000(divider) = $10 off.

Discount per number of Visit

Customers can receive discounts based on the number of visits/orders.

For example: If customer had 10 visits/orders, then will receive 5% off.

Please contact TechPOS Support to set at how many visits can customer receive a specific discount.
