How to Generate Online Account for Members (In Store Signup)?

Other provinces in Canada allow customers to sign up for an online account in store. This article will provide the instructions.

How to create a new user? 

  1. On the POS Core, go to Menu > Users > Member. 
  2. Click on Add New Member
  3. Fill out the customer information and ensure the email address is valid
  4. Hit Save and Click on the pencil button to edit. 
  5. Once on the member edit page, click on Generate Online User.
  6. The member will now receive an email which includes the login password. 

How to generate online account for existing member?

If a member already has an account on the system, their account can still be upgraded to be used online. 

  1. Search for the member under Menu > Users > Member. 
  2. Click on the Edit (pencil) button
  3. Click on Generate Online User
  4. Same process as mentioned above, the user will receive their password through email. 
  5. If you see the Online User Generated button is greyed out, it means that the user already has an active online account.
  6. If they cannot remember their password, they can go to the website and hit on Forget Your Password? button.
