Marketing SMS Setup (Twilio Account)

This article will walk you through on how to setup Twilio Account for SMS Marketing and how to integrate it with TechPOS.

How to Setup Twilio Account

  1. Click here to view Twilio Price Strategy
  2. Go to https://www.twilio.com/try-twilio and sign up
  3.  Select the configurations based on the image below
  4. You will get your SID and Auth Token on your dashboard/console. Both credentials are needed for TechPOS integration.
  5. Click "Get a Twilio phone number", then you will see your phone number in your console as well (Needed for TechPOS integration).  
  6. You also need to upgrade to a paid account to get rid of "Sent from your Twilio trial account" message and get full usage for the service.

You may also receive an email from Twilio that let you answer some questions from them, please reply the email as well.

Update Twilio Credentials on TechPOS

  1. In our marketing tab, click the "Update Twilio Credentials" button and fill up your SID, Auth Token and phone number.
  2. You can also send a test message by using the "Send Test Message" button.
